SoulKation Podcast

May 13, 2019

Hey family! Welcome back to the Soulkation Podcast!

Today we are talking to Brittany Morton, the founder and Executive Director of Saved in the City – a Christ-centred ministry for young adult women. They encourage and equip women through a safe platform to live a sold-out life for God through life groups, social outings, and community outreach. Yearly, they have the Saved in the City Conference and Saved in the City Retreat – both of which are amazing!

In our conversation today we discuss:

  • Why being different is a positive thing and how our identity is fixed and has nothing to do with what’s wrong with you.
  • Who you are and why you need to get to know yourself in order to be true to yourself.
  • How to go into each year with new and fresh goals without just recycling your old goals.
  • What your role is in the world and how you are a solution to something in this world.
  • When it’s right to not work and why it’s important to take time out.
